Tacoma Arts Live

Production Manager
Theater on the Square

+ Production Manager for new producing entity, including a four show Season.

Tacoma, WA || January 2020 - Present

+ Oversees and manages events for Tacoma Arts Live and the School of the Arts as needed for theatrical events within the Theater on the Square.

+ Organizational representative and liaison for artists on all projects produced in-house at Theater on the Square.

+ Responsible for managing budgets, crew, timelines, equipment, and schedules for all performances in partnership with Theater on the Square.

The umbrella organization over the Pantages, Rialto, Children's Theater, and Theater on the Square in downtown Tacoma's historic theater district, Tacoma Arts Live is a leading partner organization for 11 local arts organizations.

+ Participates in Season Planning for the producing entity; including show selection, acquiring rights, hiring of artists, community engagement, and creation/management of contracts.

+ Hired to create organizational structure - including paperwork, strategies, departmental systems, budget management, and company-wide investment - for a newly developed producing entity. 

RiverCenter for the Performing Arts 

Marketing Manager
Columbus, GA || Aug. 2018 - Dec. 2019

+ Assists Director of Marketing in balancing and maintaining annual budgets.

+ Develops and implements systems of organization for the Marketing department.

+ Approves and coordinates all television and radio schedules. Produces and localizes television and radio spots.

+ Manages press, promotions, and communications for all productions, ranging 25 - 30 shows per Season. Companies include national equity tours, dance organizations, military bands, educational theater companies, musical groups, circus performances, residencies, and more.

RiverCenter houses the 2,000 seat Bill Heard Stage, 500 seat Legacy Hall, 200 seat blackbox stage, and is home to the Schwob School of Music and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.

+ Content creator and manager of the RiverCenter website and all Social Media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, and Pinterest.

ACT - A Contemporary Theatre

Development Coordinator
Seattle, WA || February 2017 - April 2018

+ Assisted Director of Development with structuring of the Annual Fund and budget management.

+ Lead Tessitura database manager for the Development department. Responsible for entering, acknowledging, and processing all gifts and donations.

+ Team support for Development events, mailings, promotions, campaigns, and donor relations/support. Artistic and Executive administrative support as needed.

Located in Downtown Seattle, ACT Theatre is home to 4 performance venues: The 400 seat Falls Theatre (proscenium), 400 seat Allen Theatre (in the round), Bullitt Cabaret Space, and Laley Blackbox Theatre.

+ Lead Coordinator for ACT's Annual Gala, 2017. Most successful in organization history, $550k in gifts processing. Managed planning and night-of coordination for all operations for the event. Responsible for 280+ guests managed within Greater Giving and Tessitura.

House Manager | Ticket Office Representative | Events Manager
February 2016 - January 2017

+ HOUSE MANAGER: Managed the experience of all patrons to ACT Theatre for performances, events, rentals, and otherwise. Oversaw safety, accessibility and cleanliness for 5 performance venues and lobbies.

+ Manager of all House Staff, 15+ employees. Responsible for creation of schedules, training, and communication of company policy and ideals.

+ EVENTS: On-call manager for rental contracts. Notably: Lead Coordinator for ACT's largest annual rental contract, Cards Against Humanity during PAX West in 2016.

+ TICKET OFFICE: On-call representative managing patron support, subscriptions, ticket sales, and will call with company-wide knowledge of Tessitura.


Seattle Public Theater

Interim Technical Director
Seattle, WA || November 2016 - March 2017

+ Building and technical materials manager for the Bathhouse Theater, including all scenic, properties, lighting, and sound equipment.

+ Master Carpenter on all Mainstage (3) and Educational (7) productions. 

+ Responsible for building cleanup and maintenance, including in-house staff and volunteers as well as repair requests with the City of Seattle. 

Seattle Public Theater is housed in the historic Bathhouse Theatre on the shores of Seattle's Green Lake. A modest 165 seat house, this organization produces a 5-show Season, The Emerald Prize new play award, and was previously home to an Education Department which produced 7 productions a quarter.

+ Oversaw budgets for production, facilities, and contracted employees. Prepared and present reports to the Board of Directors.

+ Responsible for technical theater aspect of Education department. Developed and delivered lesson plans/training programs for parents and students. 

West of Lenin & The Ethereal Mutt

Venue and Production Manager
Seattle, WA || May 2014 - March 2016

+ Venue Manager for all theater spaces, including a 90 seat flexible blackbox theatre, rehearsal studio, warehouse, offices, and art gallery + lobby space.

+ Main point of contact for renters regarding all technical elements, day to day management, marketing needs, space requests, load-in/out, etc. 

Located 5 blocks West of the infamous Lenin statue in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood, West of Lenin is home to an intimate yet flexible 90-seat blackbox theater, a rehearsal studio, and art gallery + lobby. The space is operated by its production company, The Ethereal Mutt, and AJ Epstein Presents, and homes upwards of 60 events and 200+ artists per year.

+ Daily management and upkeep of theatrical space and equipment, including space organization, repair, cleanliness, and safety procedures. Knowledge of updated city and health codes. 

+ Creation and support for Community Partnership Program, building cross-promotion between the theater and 10 local businesses in the Fremont neighborhood. Provides patrons with discounts and encourages patronage of local businesses and restaurants. 

+ Production Manager for all projects as produced by AJ Epstein Presents and West of Lenin. Resident Stage Manager for in-house productions.
